SignLab fails to launch, or SignLab splash logo hangs on startup

Modified on Wed, 15 May at 11:47 AM

On startup, SignLab checks for the orange USB flash dongle to confirm that the software license is valid. However, it has been reported that some (uncommon) external and/or internal devices can conflict with license validation.

For the older HASP type dongle (blue/purple), the immediate solution is to rename the “swqtw.dll” file that is within the SignLab installation directory. For example, change “swqtw.dll” to “swqtw2.dll”.

For orange USB flash dongles, disconnect all external USB devices (except keyboard and mouse) and restart the computer. At this point, the issue should be resolved. However, if it has been determined that a replacement HASP dongle is required, then please contact Sales.
